Lead has long played an important role in traditional building. Lead roofing is amongst the most durable materials on the market and lead roofs constructed as far back as the 18th century are still in use today.

Aluminium roofs are attractive, durable, energy-efficient and increasingly affordable. It is malleable, lightweight and easy to work with onsite, thereby reducing labour costs. It comes in zinc and copper effect and looks almost identical to these materials. For this reason it is a very good alternative to zinc or copper when budgets are tight. Once installed it has a very long service life and is corrosion-resistant.
